Trident Celebrates the Chinese New Year
This is the ‘Year of the Dog’ in the Chinese calendar system. So we rang in the Chinese New Year with a little extra fun, good food and even a couple of pictures posing with a stuffed stand-in. The Year of the Dog holds the 11th place in the 12-year Chinese zodiac cycle. This year the Chinese New Year officially starts on February 16th and lasts through February 5th, 2019 (on our calendar). For those who are interested, the Years of the Dog include 1922,1934, 1946, 1958, 1970, 1982, 1994, 2006, 2018, 2030 and so on. Thanks to all who joined us for fun. Next year we have the “Year of the Pig” to look forward to 🙂

Whole Foods Giving Day to support Richardson AnimalLuv
The Trident Company participated in the Whole Foods Giving Day in support of Richardson Animal Luv! What a great day volunteers had with this organization! Richardson Animal Luv helps to support the Richardson City Shelter by providing medical expense assistance, adoption promotions, low cost microchipping, spaying and neutering, vaccinations, and foster assistance. Trident showed up in full force to hand out brochures and collect donations for the purchase of a mobile adoption unit to do off-site adoptions! Thank you to Whole Foods who contributed 1% of sales to this great organization and thank you to all who participated!

The Trident Company-Tulsa 2015 Food Drive
The Trident Company-Tulsa held a food drive in Tulsa, Oklahoma to benefit John 3:16 Mission. The employees divided into teams to raise as much food as possible. In total our Tulsa location donated 1060 lbs of food. John 3:16 provides meals, groceries, shelter, clothes and other items to the homeless and impoverished of Tulsa. A link to their website is below for more information regarding the Charity. Estimates for the amount of food we donated is enough to provide around 883 meals this holiday season. A Big Thank You to all whom made this possible for the Tulsa Community. Great Job Tulsa.
2nd Annual Halloween Chili Cook-Off
The Trident Richardson Company held their Second Annual Chili Halloween Cook-Off on Oct. 29th, 2015. Several came dressed up for Halloween and everyone enjoyed several different varieties of Chili. The winner of the Chili Cook-Off was Juli Thompson. Chris Sellers placed second and Mel Thompson placed Third. Great Job Everyone.
